How we look after your personal data when you use the Arranmore Challenge app and website.

Last updated 12 May 2026

1. Who we are

The Arranmore Challenge app and website are operated by Hexa Studios(“we”, “us”, “our”). We are the controller of personal data processed in connection with the app.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at [email protected].

2. What we collect

When you create an account and use the app, we may collect:

  • Account details: your name, email address and password (or social sign-in identifier).
  • Profile details you provide: bio, avatar image, and the team you support.
  • Content you create: posts, comments, reactions and images you upload to a tournament feed.
  • Tournament data: tournaments you create, join or own, and your role within them.
  • Technical data: basic device and session information needed to keep you signed in.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

  • Provide and operate the tournament platform — show fixtures, standings and live scores.
  • Display your profile, posts and reactions to other members of tournaments you join.
  • Authenticate you and keep your session secure.
  • Respond to support requests and send essential service messages.
  • Diagnose problems and improve the app.

4. Sign-in providers

You can sign in with email and password, Google, or Apple. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from those providers so that we can create or link your account. We do not receive your password.

5. Image storage

Photos you upload — for example to posts or as a profile avatar — are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS S3). Images are processed server-side to produce a full-size and thumbnail version. AWS acts as our processor and is bound by its own data protection obligations.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the app, including:

  • Amazon Web Services (image storage and infrastructure).
  • Google and Apple, where you choose to sign in with them.
  • Tournament administrators of tournaments you join — they can see your profile and content within that tournament and can remove your content or membership.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your account information while your account is active. Posts and uploaded images remain visible until you delete them or your account is deleted. You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing [email protected].

8. Your rights

Under data protection law you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Have your data deleted.
  • Object to or restrict how we use your data.
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission).

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

9. Children

The app is not intended for children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Cookies

The web version of the app uses a first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. It is essential for authentication and is not used for advertising or tracking.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy we will notify you in the app or by email. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
